Allie Schwertner is Rockwell Automation, Allen-Bradley’s Advanced Energy, Business Development Manager for the East region of the US. In this role, Allie is responsible for business development strategy for Advanced Energy and supporting new and existing customers in pursing opportunities related to advanced energy, for example, microgrids, distributed energy resources, energy storage, cogeneration, or optimizing existing power generation assets. Schwertner understands the new power grid will be highly digital – she is continuously educating and working with companies to achieve a digital strategy that is smart, secure and connected. Allie graduated from The Ohio State University with her Chemical Engineering degree and joined Rockwell in 2016 through the Sales Training Program as an End User account manager.
Schwertner believes in the power of connecting and bringing people together to accelerate change. Her curiosity, challenging status-quo, social selling capabilities, strategic relationship building, and passion for helping customers were all part of the reason she was awarded the 2017 Rookie of the Year in North America for Rockwell. She’s also been noted for one of the most inspiring quotes of 2017 in a global publication magazine, Plant Services. And most recently, awarded the 2019 Crain’s Cleveland Business Top 20 in their twenty’s award.
